Make sure the wording is not more intense, formal or playful than your relationship and the occasion naturally allow.
3. Is There at Least One Personal Detail?
Look for one memory, habit, nickname, appreciation or detail that clearly belongs to this person rather than a generic romantic sentence.
4. Did You Remove Repeated Ideas?
If two sentences say the same thing, keep the stronger one. Removing repetition usually makes the message feel more confident.
5. Is the Message Easy to Read?
Break long wording into short paragraphs and make sure the final card does not feel crowded.
6. Are Spelling and Punctuation Clean?
Read the message slowly once. Small mistakes are easier to notice when you review line by line instead of reading for meaning.
7. Are Dates, Places or Memories Accurate?
If you mention a date, location or shared event, make sure it is correct. Personal details only help when they are accurate.
8. Are Sender Details Correct?
Check how your name and any optional location or sender information appear on the card.
9. Did You Preview the Final Card?
Look at the actual finished layout, not only the text field. Confirm that the wording fits and important lines are not visually cramped.
10. Are You Sharing It Through the Right Channel?
Choose a private channel that suits the relationship and the message. Avoid sending something personal in a public or group context unless that is clearly appropriate.
